Don't try to do more than your body can handle too soon

Start with a few stretches and gradually increase.

If you're a man, add in some leg lifts and/or sit-ups. If you're a woman, add in some back and core exercises. For the best results, combine the three. You can also try to do less than you did before. If you've gained a lot of weight, you can use some of that gain to add more resistance by doing resistance bands, dumbbells, or ropeflow and rope jumping.

Try doing resistance exercises more than once every few days. This is a great way to see how your body responds to weight resistance. Be sure to also give your muscles a lot of recovery time between sets. Try to use the same amount of weight and intensity each time you work out. When you lift the same weight each time you're not getting the full benefits of what resistance exercises have to offer. You'll quickly find that resistance exercises are great for reducing stress. By using resistance, you're increasing the intensity of your workouts. This helps to reduce your stress levels. Be sure to do this at the same time of day if you're doing any resistance exercises or any other exercises that require you to be active, like cardio. Doing resistance exercises on different days of the week or doing cardio while doing resistance exercises could leave you feeling sluggish. Work on different muscle groups at the same time.
